
ELEV8 Development Box CAMP
ELEV8 Box Camp is designed to maximize development and game-play experience for student-athletes. Over three intensive days, student-athletes will sharpen their box lacrosse skills through high-level instruction, competitive drills, and scrimmages led by ELEV8’s experienced coaching staff. Each session focuses on building fundamentals, improving situational awareness, and advancing team concepts in a fast-paced environment.

If the Alberta Teachers’ strike occurs, both Week 1 and Week 2 camps will run, offering two separate 3-day programs focused on skill development, game awareness, and competition.

REFUND GUARANTEE
If the Alberta Teachers’ Strike does not occur, deposits will be fully refunded and balances cancelled.
If the camp is confirmed and a student-athlete is unable to attend, a credit will be applied to their ELEV8 account for use toward any future ELEV8 program.
Spots are limited per age group and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If there is no strike, both camps will be cancelled. Deposits for Week 1 and Week 2 will be fully refunded, and no balances will be charged.

No. Each camp requires its own separate deposit. Deposits cannot be transferred between weeks, but both will be refunded if there is no strike.
If the strike ends after Week 1 but before Week 2, only Week 2 will be cancelled. In this case, deposits for Week 2 will be refunded in full.
If the camp moves forward and your child cannot attend, a credit will be applied to your family’s ELEV8 account. This credit may be used toward any future ELEV8 program.
Registration is first-come, first-served. Space is limited per age group. A deposit must be submitted at the time of registration to hold a spot.
No. Student-athletes are responsible for bringing their own lunch, snacks, and water bottle each day.
Full box lacrosse equipment is required, including:
Stick
Helmet with mask
Gloves
Shoulder pads
Arm pads
Rib pads
Mouthguard
Goalies must bring their full goalie equipment.
Each 3-day camp runs from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM each day. Please arrange drop-off and pick-up accordingly.

Program Director
Geoff Snider, a Calgary native and University of Denver alumnus, was drafted 4th overall in the 2006 NLL Draft. A legendary transition player, he was inducted into the Canada Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2024, recognizing his extraordinary career. Highlights include two-time NLL All-Star MVP (2008, 2012), NLL all-time faceoff wins record (2,468), two FIL World Championships with Team Canada (2006, 2014), and founding ELEV8 Lacrosse. His legacy spans professional leagues including NLL, MLL, and international competitions, where he was a pivotal player and leader.
PAST instructors include
Bob Snider, a Bellarmine University alumnus, was drafted 16th overall in the 2009 NLL Draft by the Philadelphia Wings. An 11-year NLL veteran, he won the 2019 NLL Championship with the Calgary Roughnecks and was a three-time NLL Face-off Leader (2011–2013). Snider also holds the 2012 single-season record for face-off wins and is ELEV8 Lacrosse’s Director of Player Development.
Dan Taylor, a Calgary native and ELEV8 Lacrosse alumnus, starred at Lehigh University, leading the Patriot League with 77 points in 2015. Drafted 12th overall in the 2015 NLL Draft, he won the 2016 NLL Championship with the Saskatchewan Rush and was named their Rookie of the Year. Taylor continues to make an impact in the Calgary lacrosse community.
Tyler Sceviour, an ELEV8 Lacrosse alumnus, played at RIT, winning the 2021 NCAA Division III Championship and earning the Elite 90 Award. Drafted 33rd overall in 2020 by Colorado Mammoth, he also played for the Langley Thunder and San Diego Seals.
Steve Fryer, longtime NLL goaltender, served as a dedicated ELEV8 Lacrosse coach. Drawing on his pro experience with teams like Calgary and Colorado, he shared his knowledge, discipline, and passion for the game, helping young goalies and players develop skill and confidence.
