Callyn O’Blenes is a Calgary-born midfielder/attacker and proud ELEV8 Lacrosse alumna who developed her game in the ELEV8 system before competing at the university level. A graduate of Chestermere High School, where she was named Class of 2022 Valedictorian, Callyn brought the same dedication and discipline she showed in the classroom to the lacrosse field — earning a spot on the Queen’s University Gaels women’s lacrosse team in Kingston, Ontario.
At Queen’s University, Callyn played as a midfielder/attacker, appearing in 13 games in both her first and second years while pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree. Competing in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) conference, she balanced the demands of elite university athletics with a rigorous academic program, exemplifying the student-athlete standard that ELEV8 champions.
Back in Calgary, Callyn has been an ELEV8 coach since May 2023 — bringing her university experience, passion for athlete development, and genuine love of the game back to the players who remind her of herself. A longtime coach with Calgary Field Lacrosse™ and the ELEV8 program, Callyn leads with warmth, high standards, and a natural ability to connect with young athletes in a meaningful way.
