Marin Paulenko is a Calgary native and proud ELEV8 Lacrosse alumna who has built an impressive collegiate career through determination, hard work, and a passion for the game. A defender in the ELEV8 Elite Girls Program, she trained with ELEV8 before signing her National Letter of Intent to play NCAA lacrosse — a milestone celebrated by the entire ELEV8 family.
Marin began her collegiate career at Newberry College (NCAA DII), where she was a consistent presence on defense over two seasons, earning a spot in the SAC Championship game in her freshman year. She transferred to Gannon University for her junior season, where she earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award and the PSAC Scholar-Athlete distinction, recording 15 starts in 17 games. In 2026, Marin transferred to McKendree University for her senior season, completing a collegiate journey that has taken her across three programs. A graduate of Robert Thirsk High School in Calgary, she is also a Political Science student with ambitions in public affairs and government relations.
Back home as a coach with Calgary Field Lacrosse™ and ELEV8 Lacrosse, Marin brings her real-world experience of navigating the NCAA recruiting process and multi-school collegiate career to inspire young athletes to dream big and work hard. Dedicated, resilient, and deeply connected to the ELEV8 community, Marin embodies the grit and commitment that ELEV8 instills in every athlete it develops.
