Emily Dodd is one of Calgary’s most accomplished lacrosse athletes, and a proud product of ELEV8 Lacrosse. Born and raised in Calgary, she trained with the ELEV8 Elite Girls Program and went on to become a Canadian Field Lacrosse National Silver Medalist, captaining both Team Alberta and Team Calgary along the way.
Emily competed at the NCAA Division I level as a midfielder, beginning her collegiate career at the University of Colorado before transferring to UMass Lowell in 2025. At Colorado, she started all 19 games in her freshman season, recording 15 goals, 12 assists, and 21 draw controls. She is now a member of the Canadian Women’s National Field Lacrosse Team — ranked #2 in the world — competing at the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Tokyo, Japan, July 24 – August 2, 2026.
Off the field, Emily is a longtime coach with Calgary Field Lacrosse™ and ELEV8 Lacrosse, giving back to the programs that helped shape her journey from Calgary athlete to international competitor. A multi-sport standout — also a four-time Provincial Champion in ringette — Emily brings elite athleticism, grit, and heart to every player she coaches. Energetic, a natural leader, and a gifted communicator, Emily embodies everything ELEV8 stands for — and every athlete lucky enough to be coached by her knows it.
