ELEV8 CLASSROOOM Lacrosse partners with the NLL Calgary Roughnecks

Calgary, AB – ELEV8 Lacrosse is proud to announce their partnership with the National Lacrosse League’s Calgary Roughnecks, as the presenting sponsor of the ELEV8 CLASSROOM Lacrosse program for the 2018 – 2019 school year.

As presenting sponsor of the ELEV8 CLASSROOM Lacrosse program, the Calgary Roughnecks will champion and support the grassroots program which introduces lacrosse to students. The Roughnecks will fund visits to twenty schools in the Calgary and Rockyview school districts focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game of lacrosse.  In addition, the Calgary Roughnecks have generously donated two free home game tickets to every student who participates in the program during the 2018 – 2019 school year.

ELEV8 CLASSROOM Lacrosse is a uniquely pioneering Canadian program that primarily focuses on the growth of grassroots lacrosse. The ELEV8 CLASSROOOM Lacrosse program introduces and demonstrates the sport of lacrosse to students while educating students on the history of the sport in Canada and North America.  ELEV8 Lacrosse’s professional coaching staff, whom have NLL, MLL, NCAA, and International playing and coaching experience lead the program.

The Calgary Roughnecks, now in their 18th season, are a professional box lacrosse team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and are part of the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation. COVID-19 UPDATE

May 4, 2020 - ELEV8 Lacrosse is looking forward to resuming in-person program instruction, with the understanding that the global climate surrounding COVID-19 remains a fluid situation. Accordingly, we are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments with the guidance of Alberta Health Services and the City of Calgary officials. The safety of all student-athletes, coaching staff, and families is paramount, and any future decisions involving instructional changes will be communicated electronically to registered members should the need arise.
