So ALL Kids Can Play Lacrosse Campaign with KidSport Wraps Up!

The “#SoALLKidsCanPlayLacrosse” Campaign started in June 2019 by ELEV8 Lacrosse in partnership with KidSport Calgary, has officially concluded! ELEV8 Lacrosse was proud to kick off the donations to the #SoALLKidsCanPlayLacrosse Campaign with a $4,000 donation. This initiative engaged the greater lacrosse community to help support the same effort. Together, ELEV8 Lacrosse and the Calgary lacrosse community and surrounding areas raised a total of $6,400 for the #SoALLKidsCanPlayLacrosse campaign! All donations will directly go to KidSport for the purpose of giving less-fortunate kids the opportunity to play lacrosse in the City of Calgary and surrounding areas.

ELEV8 Lacrosse is always proud to partner with KidSport in any efforts given their impact on the Calgary sports community. The focus of this campaign was to make lacrosse accessible remove financial barriers with kids who want to play the sport. KidSport is the backbone of the Calgary sports community and was amazing in their efforts of promoting the sport of lacrosse through this campaign.

ELEV8 Lacrosse and KidSport Calgary first partnered in January 2018.  Since then, ELEV8 Lacrosse has donated upwards of $10,000 to support KidSport through annual TRYit clinic initiatives which challenge boys and girls to try the sport of lacrosse and the #SoALLKidsCanPlayLacrosse campaign.

“We know first-hand the impact that organized sport has on young people and in their direction and futures within our community.  This initiative supports student-athletes and gives them the opportunity to experience staying physically active, which builds their self-confidence, academic performance and positively impact their communities, student body, and ultimately them as citizens, competitors and leaders in a variety of grassroots initiatives” Geoff Snider, Founder & CEO of ELEV8 Lacrosse commented.

We very much appreciate the support of our direction in the community and wish to thank everyone who contributed for their continued support of KidSport, the Calgary Lacrosse Community, and ELEV8 Lacrosse.
